Community Conversations on Health Care Begin this Week around the State

The Vermont Agency of Human Services and the Green Mountain Care Board are holding a series of virtual forums to give community members around the state a chance to share  personal and family experiences with health care and to make recommendations on how to improve the health care system for all of us.

The Vermont legislature passed a law in 2022 that created these listening sessions. Our legislators want to hear from us about health care and how to make it better and more affordable for everyone.   They are looking for your answers to the following questions:
Is Vermont's health care system serving you and your family well?  Are you able to receive and afford the care you need?  What kinds of medical care do you want to see more of in your community?  What changes to the health care system would benefit our state?

The first session in our area will be for Copley Hospital on Wednesday October 25 from 4 to 6 p.m.  There will be a session for people who use the Central Vermont Medical Center on November 15 from 4 to 6 p.m.  Both are virtual sessions.

Register for a session in your area at this link:

You can also register for one of four statewide sessions and/or submit written comments.
