Are you curious about the value and history of antiques and old treasures in your possession? The Johnson Historical Society can help you learn about them at their Antiques Road Show and Appraisal Day at the Holcomb House, 188 Main Street East, Johnson on Saturday, October 28th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
Experts will appraise antiques in three categories.
Mark "Buggyman" Ducharme and Ed Barns will appraise furniture, china and porcelain,
and old toys.
Michael and Maria Roosevelt will appraise paintings, artwork, & dolls.
Tim Hunt is the expert for gold, silver, and jewelry.
The cost is $5 for each item appraised. Bring as many as you like. All proceeds will be donated to the Johnson Public Library, which was significantly affected by the July flood.
Open to the public with free admission. Refreshments will be available.
