The Costume Party at the Community Oven will be a collaborative & FREE celebration for the folks who live in and/or love on Johnson!
The Oven Committee will be serving up wood fired hand pies, hot apple cider, coffee (donated from Jenna's Promise!), and cider donuts.
The Johnson Public Library will be offering games and a trick or treat activity table.
The Vermont Studio Center will have a cookie decorating station set up - decorate your own spooky Halloween cookie!
Dave Langevin and Carrie Cook will be providing live music for us.
The sheep who live at the Johnson Woolen Mills, Geronimo, Gelert and Gilead, will be walking through town to make an appearance on the field and to get love by all their costumed neighbors.
The Beautification Committee is helping to decorate and make our end of October event...beautiful!
There will ALSO be a story walk from the oven on Legion Field to the old Sterling Market, leading families to the Haunted House Matinee that runs from 12-3 on Sunday, which will be by donation. What a great opportunity to spend the afternoon in the village of Johnson.
***Please bring your leaves to Legion Field! Delivering them in bags is just fine.
This event is rain, shine, or sleet. We will have a large tent set up.
See you Sunday!
