I had the pleasure of watching Go On, Be Brave this year at the Middlebury Filmmaker's Festival. It's an incredible documentary film about Andrea Lytle Peet's journey to become the first person with ALS to complete a marathon in all 50 states (Vermont has a lovely feature). I was SO inspired after watching the film and knew that it was something that I wanted to share with more people.
So, long story short: after connecting with Andrea, the filmmakers, and working with the UVM OTD (Occupational Therapy Doctorate) program, she is coming to UVM for a special screening of the film!
Admission is free and we want to pack the room, especially since Andrea and her husband are making the journey up for the occasion. So, please spread the word to your networks and come see the film yourself. It's a great one and an opportunity that you don't want to miss.
The event will be next Monday evening from 6-8:30 PM at the UVM Sugar Maple Ballroom (at the Davis Center) on campus.
