Kate Youngdahl-Stauss writes: Warren's sensational storyteller, Keryn Nightingale, digs deep into her seemingly endless treasure trove of childhood memories for her new one-woman show, What's His Name. Was Keryn aware that Barbie was going to blow up big when she went back to her dolls to re-vision her favorite fairy tale? All I know is the combination of 800 projected photographs of doll sized sets, iconic music, and wildly spinning narrative make for great live entertainment. If you caught the show at Phantom Theater this summer, you'll be glad to hear there's some new tricks and treats, plus the chance to see those amazing images on the big screen. I can't think of a better way to get in the Halloween spirit than to catch it at the Big Pic on Friday night!
