The Richmond Climate Action Committee is sponsoring a showing of the new movie, "Disruption". We'll get together at the Richmond Solar Farm to watch and to have a discussion about what we can all do to fight climate change. Join us!
The Richmond Solar Farm is a 25 kW group net metered solar array that powers a 20 acre farm and five households. The barn is a 200 year old dairy barn that has been renovated into an event space. Come early to check out the farm and let's figure out ways to take action.
Bring your own chair and refreshments to share.
Directions to the Richmond Solar Farm
From the Richmond Interstate exit, go to the center of Town and take a right at the light on to Bridge St. Go over the railroad tracks and over the bridge. At the Round Church the road curves around to the right. Head out of town and the first fork in the road on the right is the Richmond-Hinesburg road. Take that righthand fork, go about a mile and a half to Faye’s Corners where the road curves around to the left. Stay on the main road that curves left and we are 1.6 miles on the left hand side, the second farm on the left. You will see the large cow barn and a smaller horse barn. 2899 is on the mailbox across the street.
Showing of “Disruption” the movie will be this Sunday, September 7. Showtime is at 7:00. Come early to socialize.
See you then.
