Now through November, the Carpenter-Carse Library Community Room will host "Finding Hope Within," an exhibition of poetry, writing, and visual art created by incarcerated artists in Vermont. The artwork speaks to the human qualities of healing, forgiveness, and growth.
Join us Saturday October 21st at 1:00pm for a grand opening, where co-curators John Vincent, from A Revolutionary Press, and Heather Newcomb, program manager for justice involved services of Vermont Works for Women, will discuss the creation of the exhibition and introduce the visitors to the artists and their artwork on display.
Light refreshments will be provided, and some art pieces will be exclusive to Saturday's show, so be sure to stop by! No registration is required, but if you would like to receive an email reminder, contact rachel@carpentercarse.org.
