If you're looking for some exercise this weekend, and want to support an awesome Waterbury nonprofit — the Children's Literacy Foundation (CLiF) — come join the "BOOK IT FOR CLiF" 5K Fun Run on Saturday, October 21 at 10 AM at Thompson Park in Stowe (off 108, across from the Percy Farm Corn Maze).
All ages and abilities are welcome. Proceeds will benefit young readers at the community school in Albany, VT. In lieu of an entry fee, runners are encouraged to bring a NEW children's books for donation (no used books, please). For more info, and to make a financial donation, text CLiF to 53-555.
