Come celebrate the grand opening of the largest section of a planned city-wide trail around Vergennes. This portion includes a beautiful ADA accessible boardwalk and connects New Haven Road with Monkton Road. It is part of the long-term project to create a trail around the entire perimeter of the city. Speakers will include Vergennes Mayor Chris Bearor, Vergennes Recreation & Programming Coordinator Martha DeGraaf, and Vergennes Recreation Committee member Matt Hawes.
