The Mud Studio and Blockhouse studio two local pottery studios are hosting an Empty Bowl Benefit, raising money for farmers and small businesses affected by July's devastating floods. The event will be on November, 12 at the Zenbarn. After the catastrophic flooding in our communities in July, we decided that reviving our bowl benefit could provide a small amount relief to farmers and their families and our local small businesses. This Year we've forces with Blockhouse Pottery Studio in Waitsfield and Zenbarn Restaurant in Waterbury, which is donating their space for the event.
There will be two seatings at 4 pm and 6 pm. An online silent auction of crafts, services, and gift certificates will be up shortly with a wide variety of goods and services to bid on. Tickets are available at www.themudstudio.com, with a limited number available same day at the door. All money raised with donate NOFA VT's Farmer Emergency Relief Fund and the Vermont Main Street Flood Relief Fund.
