Road Race 10/22 South St and West Shore Rd

On Sunday October 22, Green Mountain Athletic Association is proud to bring the 52nd Champlain Islands Marathon and Half Marathon to South Hero. Thank you for your support and hospitality. Read on for race day information.
South Street will be closed from 8:15 to 9:00 AM for the start of the race. Course marshals will be at major intersections to facilitate sharing the road. The course closes at 2:30 PM. Proceeds of the race are donated to South Hero Rescue and the track and field program at Folsom Community Center.
