Everyone has a story only they can tell. Come to the SB Library on October 18 at 5:30 p.m. to prepare for the epic creative endeavor that is NaNoWriMo.
National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a month-long event in November during which people all over the world commit to writing a 50,000-word draft of their novel in 30 days.
You "win" by writing 50,000 words in November ... in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, that beautiful blank book you've been saving for a special occasion, wherever you like. That's it! What you do with your draft is entirely up to you.
Whether you have written fifteen NaNoNovels or this is your first time hearing about this improbable creative project, come to this event! There will be enthusiasm, inspiration, advice, and noveling handouts. Can't make it but you're intrigued? Send me an email!
Also, during November, join us at the SB Library's NaNoWriMo Write-Ins for snacks, word sprints, inspiration, and a great community of fellow novelers. Nov. 1, 4-6:45; Nov. 4, 10-1; Nov. 14, 4-6:45; Nov. 18, 10-1.
