Know any 5th -12th graders interested in computer science and coding? Take them to Harvest on Oct 28th in Burlington-- A free day of coding, technical workshops and pizza all being run by teenagers at Hack Club (https://hackclub.com/), a Shelburne-based nonprofit.
Here is the website https://harvest.hackclub.com to register, and there are only 20 spots left. It's all free, and it runs 1pm-8pm at Karma Birdhouse, a cafe in Burlington. You can drop off young people.
They'll spend the day with other students and teen mentors either building their first website with HTML, or coding their first video game with JavaScript or getting started on PCB design. It's themed for Halloween!
