The Mud Studio in Waterbury and Blockhouse Pottery Studio in Waitsfield are hosting an Empty Bowl Benefit to support farmers and families in Washington County impacted by the July flood. Area potters have been making bowls and bowls and bowls-400 in all- for the November fundraiser at Zenbarn in Waterbury.

For your $35 donation, you get to choose a handcrafted bowl to keep, and have it filled with warm, comforting soup prepared by local restaurants. Artisan cheese, crusty bread, and homemade desserts are included as well.

There will be live music and an online silent auction which will be up and running soon.

Everything for the benefit has been donated, so ALL receipts go to the charities we've chosen, NOFA (Organic Farmers Assn.) and Main Street Flood Relief Fund.
