October 15th, 1-4 PM
1416 North Avenue, Burlington
The Odd Fellows will be hosting a celebration for the completion of our new mural and the reopening of our building as a community center.
Founded in 1845, the Burlington Odd Fellows seek to build a stronger community through the principles of Friendship, Love, and Truth. The Odd Fellows serve over 500 visitors each month through the North End Pantry, with food, clothes, and diapers.
Over the past year the Odd Fellows have seen incredible new growth. More than 20 new members have joined with the goal of revitalizing this historic institution and restoring its central role in our community.
The Odd Fellows have partnered with the Burlington City Council, Burlington City Arts, and the Anthill Collective to cover the building with a new mural celebrating the Odd Fellows traditions and the special community of the New North End.
The event on October 15th will focus on sharing this art with the community and the press. We will have attendees from the City Council, Anthill Collective, the Odd Fellows, and the North End Pantry on hand to answer questions and give interviews. We will also be offering tours of the building to show off our community hall, which will soon be open for public and private events. We hope you will attend.
