Join us on Friday, September 5 at 6:30pm at the St. Albans Historical Society & Museum to celebrate Vermont Archaeology Month.
Archaeologist Gemma Hudgell from the Northeast Archaeology Research Center (NEARC) will summarize the exciting results of their large-scale archaeological excavations along Route 78 in Swanton. The Missisquoi floodplain setting preserved a remarkable record of human occupation spanning nearly 7,000 years. Admission is free.
