Waterbury Recreation has partnered with Yoga With Jess to offer recurring gentle yoga classes.
Class Description: Two classes on alternating Tuesdays mornings and evenings. Classes focus on releasing tension through passive and supported postures, gentle flowing sequences, and guided breathwork. Find your version of poses gradually using props, options, and dynamic movement to settle into the body and calm the mind. We'll protect our joints while gently building strength and safely stretching the whole body. This class is perfect for anyone seeking a relaxed approach to their physical yoga practice while building self-compassion and experiencing mindfulness techniques for use on and off the mat.
*Please bring your own yoga mat and props
Classes will be in the recreation building.
These classes are $12/each or have discount series price and registration is required.
Evening Class Dates: 6:30pm - October 17, November 14, 28, December 12
Morning Class Dates: 9:30am - October 24, November 7, 21, December 5 and 19
