Green River Meadows, 741 River Road, Guilford
Would you like to learn more about macroinvertebrates, the small organisms that live among the rocks in our streams and rivers? If so, the Vermont River Conservancy invites you to a workshop at Green River Meadows (0.7 miles south of Green River Village) on Saturday from 3-4 pm. Here we will meet retired ecologist and Guilford resident Lia Chasar and spend an hour collecting and learning about the nymphs, larvae, crayfish, and snails that live in the river. Wear appropriate clothing, as there will be an option to wade in the river. In case of heavy rain, the event will be held on Sunday from 3-4 pm.
