Where: CHCV's NEW facility at Rogers Farmstead (934 Rowell Hill Rd., Berlin, VT)

CHCV organizes volunteers to harvest and distribute food from local farms that would otherwise go to waste, delivering thousands of pounds of fresh local produce to food pantries and meal programs throughout the year. Come see what we do and you may be inspired to get involved - volunteering with CHCV is a great outing for families, team events, or meeting new friends.

This new facility more than triples the space for us to store and distribute nutritious, local food to food-insecure Vermonters in our community. Combined with our new cargo van, we are well positioned to continue expanding our work.

Come see our new facility first-hand, get a glimpse of the bounty flowing through it this harvest season, and meet CHCV board members, staff, volunteers, donors, and farm and community partners.

This casual, drop-in event will feature light refreshments generously donated by Cabot Cheese, Fox Market, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, VT Salumi, Four Spring Farm & Campground, Red Hen Baking Co., and others, as well with tours of the space being offered at both 2:30 and 3:30pm. All who attend can enter a drawing to win some cozy CHCV hats and shirts as well as gift certificates to Earthly Wonders in Barre and Guys Farm & Yard in Montpelier.
