We will have our first meeting (Gathering) of the Food Security Group (grassroots) for Marshfield, Plainfield, Cabot, and E. Montpelier!
Everyone and anyone is welcome to come and join us!
This Gathering (meeting) will be a dessert potluck. Please bring yourself, whether or not you have a sweet treat to bring and share. You are important, not what we eat!
The world is changing, and our current reliance on the global food and supply economic system is under stress due to the changing climate, possible economic downturn, and continuous and expanding wars!
By working together, we can create a new system. One that we have local control over! One designed to assure that everyone will eat, no matter how perilous and unreliable the global economy becomes.
This Gathering is a first step towards localization, creating an independent Bioregion!
Please join us at the Jaquith Library at the Old Schoolhouse Common in Marshfield on Monday the 16th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
