Join us for a delicious evening of excellent local food and music in Fellowship Hall. This family-style dinner will feature a variety of local delicacies, prepared our market farmers and producers. Enjoy hearty fare by our farmer chefs Charlotte of the Kitchen at HCA and Flour Bottom Bread, Hayley of Pachamama Kitchen, Annie and Chad of Split Acres Farm, Kyja of Hogblossom Farm, Alba of Milkweed Mercantile, the Wyatt and Dunbar Families, Carol of Broadfork Farmstead, and more! Vegan and gluten free options will be available. The delightful Donna Joerg will set a feel-good atmosphere with her acoustic folk guitar and vocals.
This event aims to celebrate our farmers' market and all our wonderful patrons, and to raise funds to support market operations. This includes our EBT program which allows us to accept food stamps and double or triple shoppers' money with Crop Cash, and our summer music series, which not only makes for a vibrant and fun market, but provides a paid performance opportunity along with great visibility for our local musicians. The market is entirely volunteer-run, and our affordable vendor fees cover our most basic administrative costs, so all proceeds from this event go straight to programs that make a difference for our community.
Many thanks to our farmer chefs and the Greensboro United Church of Christ for making this event possible. See you there!
