A fully immersive floral beginning with a deep dive into the mythology and medicine of this ancestral plant, followed by a guided meditation while imbibing marigold flower essence and tea.
You will also learn how to prepare and dye fabric for the best results and walk away with your own large botanically alchemized silk scarf.
The first 9 registrants will also receive this gorgeous zine created by herbalist Damiana of La Luneria.
Victoria Keen is a mother, healer, fabric alchemist, and avid gardener. She believes a natural dye practice can be a moving meditation, imparting awe and wonder into the everyday world that surrounds us.
A third generation textile designer, she holds a BFA in Textiles from Parsons School of Design, and combines her meditation, herbal and healing work to engage in her unique plant and food dye practice.
In Victoria's former career as a fashion designer, sustainability was at the center of her endeavors. Now, as a teacher and guide her intention is to ignite and inspire her students' own innate creativity by slowing down and engaging with the natural world.
