Come join us at the Fourth and final 2023 Round Church Concert Series event which takes place on Sunday, October 22nd. The Richmond Historical Society and Northfield Savings Bank will be welcoming Wild Branch.

Wild Branch is a bluegrass band from Vermont. Rooted in traditional bluegrass rhythm and vocal harmony, the band continues to develop a unique and contemporary approach to songwriting and performance. The band formed in 2015, around the songwriting of lead vocalist and guitarist Dan Johnson, who had already independently released eight noteworthy albums of unique americana.

Since then, it was found that there was a previous (original) incarnation of the Wild Branch name, featuring long-time Vermont bluegrass songwriter Jim Mcginniss, along with Bill Gaston, Pete Langdell, and Mitch Barron. The funny thing about this was that Mitch and Bill were currently playing with the New Wild Branch (it's a small state). They gave their blessing to continue with the name, and so it continues on, as New Wild Branch.

Previous band member have included Andrew Stearns, Josh Halman, Todd Sagar, Bill Gaston, Mitch Barron, and Jeff Thompson.

You can also come the day of the concert and enter with a suggested donation of $12 for adults and $3 for kids. We accept VENMO and PAYPAL!

This Concert is inside The Old Round Church. Doors open at 4:00 pm with the music starting at 5 PM. Food and drink are not allowed inside the building, but concert goers are welcome to picnic on the Round Church green before, during or after the performance. No dogs, alcohol or smoking will be allowed.
