The White River Valley Players present their Fall production, Dreams and Nightmares, a show featuring music and theater. The show will be held on Friday, Oct. 27, at 7pm and a Saturday matinee on Oct. 28 at 2pm at the Rochester School Auditorium.
The event will start with an eclectic mix of dream-themed songs performed by well-known valley musicians and then will switch to a zany one-act play, The Actor's Nightmare, by Christoper Durang. George Spelvin has found himself performing on stage - but he doesn't know what play he's in, nor any of his lines! In fact, he's not quite sure he knows who he is - is his name even George? Is he playing the classic brooding hero of one of Shakespeare's most famous tragedies? Is he on a playful romp in a melodramatic rom-com? It all starts to feel a little TOO real when the executioner comes on stage. . .
Sue Ribaudo is the Music Director for Songs of Dreams and Dreamers, Mian O'Dowd is the Stage Director for The Actor's Nightmare, and Todd Eberhardt is the show's Producer.
There will also be treats available for purchase from Sandy's Bakery. Tickets are available at the door by cash or check. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. Adults $10; Teens & Seniors $8; Children $5; Families $25. If you have any further questions, then please contact Todd Eberhardt at te120768@yahoo.com or 314-680-6516. Come enjoy a wonderful time supporting your local arts community!
