Do you know about the Service of Edward Farrar and his Sacrifice on Oct 13, 1904?
Sat Oct 14 at 1 pm There will be a brief event unveiling the plaque commemorating the public service of Edward Farrar at his grave site in Hope Cemetery behind the Congregational Church. Edward Farrar was a dedicated public service in Waterbury from 1882 to 1904 which ended with his lose of life in service.
This event is presented by the Edward Farrar Utility District Commissioners and the Waterbury Historical Society. There will be chairs and a tent at the site.
