Please consider joining a community conversation on improving pedestrian and bicycle safety along Bay Road this Thursday, Sept 4 at 7 pm. We will be joined by Jason Van Driesche, Local Motion's Director of Advocacy and Education, who will lead a discussion on effective short term and long term ways to improve conditions for walking and biking in Shelburne, with a particular focus on Bay Road opportunities. This is a great time to have your voice be heard by an expert who can help us make a plan to make Bay Road -- and Shelburne in general -- a better and safer place for biking and walking.
DATE: Thursday, September 4
TIME: 7 PM to 8:30 PM
PLACE: 40 Old Stage Lane (home of Susan Grasso)
RSVP: At this link: bit.ly/shelburnehouseparty
PARKING: Parking is limited, additional parking is available on Lilly Creek or at Boulder Hill. To help alleviate parking, please consider carpooling.
Spoiler alert: this gathering will also be a fundraiser for Local Motion's advocacy work on behalf of walking and biking in Shelburne. We'll explain how Local Motion has been a tremendous ally for Shelburne, and why they deserve our support.
Thanks,
Boston Neary
