The Little City Gala is back, Back to the 80's that is! The Little City Gala is an annual fundraiser put on by the Vergennes Union Elementary School Community Group. This year the Gala will be held at The Eagles Club in Vergennes, Saturday, November 4th from 7-11pm. We'll have DJ Bruce Zeman, a cash bar, and an 80's inspired snack table with iconic foods donated by local restaurants and businesses. There will be a cash only bag raffle with great prizes from local businesses such as Woodchuck Hard Cider, The Middlebury Natural Foods Co-Op, Addison County Fair and Field Days, Shelburne Farms, ECHO Leahy Center for Lake Champlain and others you wont want to miss.
The crowning of the "Little City Royals" will go to two attendees voted as the "Best dressed from the 80's." The winners will each receive a gift card to a much loved local restaurant.
All proceeds from Gala and raffle ticket sales will directly support VUESCG's mission: "to provide enrichment and community building activities for VUES." Money raised will support school activities like: field trips, the implementation of Four Winds nature based programming, a book for each student at the Book Fair, family fun events, and teacher appreciation activities.
