Hi Folks,
Some of us just love beautiful music; others love beautiful music and could still use a bit more emotional salve for the woes inflicted on us by a tough summer. For anyone in either or both categories, here's what you need to do:
Attend "The Music of J.S. Bach," a pair of concerts being hosted this coming weekend by your venerable local classical music organization, Capital City Concerts. Come to the Unitarian-Universalist Church on Main Street at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday or the St. Paul Cathedral on Cherry Street in Burlington, and you'll get to hear high-quality, live performances of Bach's piano Concerto in D minor, his "Double Concerto" for two violins, and other great works.
Tickets ($15-$30) are available now at www.capitalcityconcerts.org, and
at the door on the day. Arrive early for best seats.
