The Attorney General's Office will host an expungement clinic on October 27th in Montpelier. At the clinic, attorneys will offer free assistance with petitions to clear criminal records for Vermont-specific "qualifying" criminal convictions and dismissed charges. Most misdemeanors are eligible for record sealing or expungement. Appointments must be scheduled in advance by calling the Attorney General's Office's expungement clinic line at 802-828-0033 by October 12th. Eligible participants will have the option of scheduling an in-person or telephone appointment for the day of the clinic.
