In her memoir Whispers from the Valley of the Yak, Jackie takes us along on her profound midlife search for meaning and authenticity. This intergenerational story - about the power of forgiveness and being true to oneself - takes us from China, where she was born to medical missionaries, to Alaska, Vermont, and the eastern rim of the Tibetan Plateau.
