The Woodbury Conservation Committee and the Northeast Wilderness Trust are hosting a short walk on October 9th into the Woodbury Mountain Wilderness Preserve by the waterfall off County Road and Greenwood Lake to meet and greet our new neighbor in Woodbury...the Northeast Wilderness Trust, NEWT for short. This event is for those who wish to learn more about NEWT and the Woodbury Mountain Wilderness Preserve and spend some time on the preserve by one of Woodbury's better known and most impressive waterfalls. Representatives from NEWT will be present to answer questions and to share information about the preserve and the mission of NEWT.

We will meet at the Woodbury Elementary School parking lot at 1:00 p.m. on October 9th . Parking at the waterfall is limited to two cars so we will be shuttling folks to and from the waterfall area.
