Due to this weekend's weather the FREE 4th Annual Indigenous Peoples' Day Rocks will be moving to Sunday, October 8th from 12-5pm indoors to the Akeley Memorial Building at 67 Main Street in Stowe in the Town Hall Theatre on the 2nd floor.

Parking will still be available at the Stowe Events Fields at 140 Weeks Hill Road for the event. It's just a short walk away into the Village of Stowe on the Stowe Recreation Path at the Stowe Events Fields Parking. There will be signage for you to follow. You can also park in the Village of Stowe, but plan for a busy village weekend because of limited public parking. https://www.facebook.com/events/1666051870507314

It will be a full, beautiful, warm and dry autumn day.. indoors celebrating Indigenous American culture, crafts, and live Indigenous musical performances with Chief Donald Stevens and the Nulhegan Drummers, Jesse Bowman Bruchac, and Morgan Lamphere.

Blues Hall of Fame inductee and six-time Blues Music Awards winner Joe Louis Walker will join the annual celebration named as one of The Vermont Chamber of Commerce Top Ten Fall Events. The day will feature Indigenous American crafters, educators, storytellers & musicians, drummers, artisans, and food vendors, and culminate in a rousing rock and roll concert with the Dave Keller Band, and the incomparable bluesman Joe Louis Walker.

Mr. Walker has generously gifted one of his autographed concert guitars for a silent auction for this event only. $2000 reserve. Everything starts at Noon so don't miss it: see program details at www.ipdrocks.com
