The Middlesex Budget Committee will meet at 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 12th at the Town Hall and via Zoom to review and discuss the planned Capital expenses for next year's (Fiscal Year 2024-2025) town budget, as part of our Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
The CIP is designed to help town residents better understand why and when large municipal Capital expenses are needed. Examples of large Capital expenses include replacing trucks, highway equipment, and fire trucks, paving roads, buying land, and the like. Capital expenses are generally financed over several years and included in the annual town budget.
We invite the public to join our meeting in person or via Zoom to see what's planned for large Capital expenses for the next budget year.
