Beginning Sept. 18, South Royalton residents Pam Frary and Linda Haffner will offer American Sign Language (ASL) classes every other Thursday evening, 6-7:30 p.m., at the Royalton Memorial Library.

The class text will be Lottie Riekehof's book "The Joy of Signing" (second edition; 1987), which participants may purchase through the library or on their own. There is no additional cost for the classes.

Class size is limited to 26; pre-registration is available by calling the library at 763-7094.
