Islands Energy and Environmental Fair at Farmers' Market!

Come to the Islands Energy and Environmental Fair and meet vendors
discussing Geothermal heating, Wind and Solar power generation, efficient
building methods! Learn about land conservation, protecting water quality in
Lake Champlain, the new lake shore regulations, invasive species, recycling,
hazardous waste disposal, climate change policy, and more.

We are collecting used CFL bulbs and used batteries, plus giving away new
CFL bulbs. Find out how to save on your energy costs, and protect the
environment through recycling, shoreline protection, and more!

Wednesday September 3rd, 3pm to 6pm at the Champlain Islands Farmers Market
at St. Rose of Lima Church on Rte 2 in South Hero. Sponsored by South Hero
Land Trust and Islanders Caring for the Environment.
