On October 7 2023 the St. Johnsbury Band will present a "Heritage Concert" as part of the Fall into St. Johnsbury festival.. The concert will be from the bandstand in Courthouse Park, Main Street, St. Johnsbury at 11:00 AM. The concert is weather permitting.
The band will offer a program of famous marches, show tunes, new music arranged for concert bands and a historic overture.
Several new pieces of music may be performed: 'Despacito;' a new Latin pop piece with urban rhythms and the first YouTube video to have four billion views. Music publisher JW Pepper states that it is a major hit in over 40 counties.
The band also hopes to perform 'The Best of Queen' a medley including 'We Will Rock You, Another One Bites the Dust' and 'We Are The Champions;' and "Highlights from the Broadway musical Annie,' 'Beach Boys Greatest Hits' and several others.
