Save the date!

The Hinesburg Affordable Housing Committee is hosting a forum on accessory dwelling units. Also called mother-in-law apartments or ADUs, these are smaller independent units that are on the same lot as an existing home. They can be used as long-term or short-term rentals to generate income or extra space for visiting family or aging in place.

The forum will discuss what an ADU is and how one would build or convert one in Hinesburg. There will be speakers to discuss the permitting process and answer your questions.

Please join us at the United Church Parish Hall (10570 Rt 116) on Thursday, October 26, from 7-8:30pm. There will be refreshments.
