Republican voters of St. George are hereby notified to meet for a caucus lunch on Saturday October 7th at 12:30pm at the Little Red School House in St. George near the town office.

Given the unprecedented number of taxes an fee increases proposed by the super majority of Democrats in Montpelier it is important that Vermonters who want to keep our state affordable work together to elect common-sense candidates who will listen to the voters in our district. This past year saw:
-increases to DMV fees (despite no requested increase from the DMV)
-higher education tax to pay for lunches for the wealthiest families
-a new payroll tax affecting nearly every worker in the state
-a new taxing scheme being developed on home heating oil (with an exception for natural gas)

And all of those taxes came at the same time with a vote to DOUBLE legislative pay!!

If you also believe it is becoming unaffordable to live in this state and want to see changes in our district, please join us in re-forming our local Republican Committee. This meeting's agenda will include:
-Pizza Lunch & Social Hour
-Election of Town Committee & Officers
-Election of Delegates to the County Committee
-Discussion of other topics of local interest

So whether you want to be a part of the change you want to see in our state - or you just want to learn more and meet other like-minded people who want to make our community more affordable and a safer place to live, please drop by Saturday afternoon.
