Do you preserve garden or other produce? It's a great way to enjoy summer all year long. But you probably find that you've got a whole lot of one item and you'd really prefer others. So, come to our first community canning swap! Choose something different while helping our community.
Here's how it works: Bring your excess jars (labeled with date and contents, please) to the Arlington Common on Saturday October 21 between 11:00am-4:00pm. You may simply take another jar for each one you bring to swap.
This swap will take place in the gallery, which is currently featuring "Two for the Road" photographic exhibition by Manchester, VT resident Matthew Lerman and New York resident Ken Karlewicz.
Karlewicz and Lerman fuse their creative visions, exploring the backroads, barnyards, brooks and valleys of Southern New England, creating a spectacular vignette, which draws the viewer into the everyday moments, each has rendered extraordinary.
The exhibition of more than 40 color photographs printed on metal, canvas and archival papers, will be on display September 23 - November 4, 2023. The Watkins House Gallery will be open every Thursday from 1-4pm and Saturday from 11am-4pm or by appointment.
