Greetings Hardwick,
THIS FRIDAY (10/6) is the final Hardwick Farmers Market of the season and we'll be hosting our 1st annual Celebration of Indigenous Peoples and Culture.
Come learn about & celebrate the history of the Abenaki People in our region! In addition to our regular farmer's market, you can expect:
- Music by a group of traditional drummers
- 3 Sisters demonstration table
- Storytime about Abenaki Heritage with the Jeudevine Library
- Kids activities (including a coloring book that helps teach the Abenaki words for animals!)
One other important announcement: We will be celebrating the end of the market season with a community cider pressing & tasting event. So please bring some apples to throw into the hopper & the willingness to take a turn on the press!
