If you want some coaching on how to prepare your garden for winter, please join the Friends of the Horticulture Farm in this hands-on learning project.
SATURDAY, October 7, 10-12 (outside at the Hort Farm)
Come and help the Friends of the Horticulture Farm put our pollinator garden to bed for winter and learn how to prepare your own gardens for the coming cold months. You'll learn about cleanup tasks to do, how to divide and transplant perennials, what plants to leave standing for wildlife, and what to mulch. Bring your gloves and a tarp or weeding bucket. FREE
This workday will take place outside at the UVM Horticulture Farm, 65 Green Mountain Drive, So. Burlington. In case of rain, go to: fhfvt.org for instructions
