Quilting in the Land of Milk and Honey's quilt show in Middlebury. Saturday, Oct. 7 (10 am to 5 pm), and Sunday, Oct. 8 (10 am to 3 pm), Middlebury Recreation Center, 154 Creek Road, Middlebury. The show will feature well over 200 quilts, and will showcase quilts by Sandra Bonomo, 40 art quilts from Studio Art Quilts Associates (SAQA), Quilts of Valor made for veterans and active-duty service members with a presentation at 2pm on Saturday to 8 veterans and Barn Quilts. Also ornaments for sale to benefit Restorative Justice, vendors, a basket raffle and a raffle quilt (need not be present to win). Lunch and refreshments will be available for purchase. Admission is $7; children under 12 are free.
