Vermont's Historic theater Curtains - Westford's own Theater Curtain
Where: Brick Meeting House on the Common, Westford VT
Between 1880 and World War II, painted theater curtains were artistic features of most New England villages and towns.
Join us on October 7th as Christine Hadsel of "Curtains without Borders" gives her presentation on the talented artists who produced these works of art, the traveling troupes that went from town to town to perform and explains what is being done to preserve these wonderful hand painted curtains.
She will also discuss the restoration process used to just recently preserve Westford's own Theater Curtain. After the presentation, attendees will be the FIRST to view the newly restored Westford's Town Hall Curtain.
