BAKERSFIELD HOMELAND DAYS –celebrating community

Main Street Parade at 12 noon with the Firemen’s Chicken BBQ, 12:30 pm at the Bakersfield Elementary School. Afternoon activities on the Brigham Academy Green to include: music by Missisquoi River Bluegrass Band, self guided walks on the Conservation Commission trail. Visit the ongoing silent auction, bake & pie sale, open house at the Bakersfield Fire Department South Station and visit the Brigham Academy Advisory Committee regarding the future of the Academy building. The annual cow plop contest starts at 2 pm and frog jumping contest at 3 pm.
