Past event
Sep 17, 2014

On Wednesday, September 17th, the Crown Point Road Association will be hiking the Plymouth section of the Crown Point Military Road as part of their end-to-end traverse of this historic route. Those interested in hiking with the group should meet at 9 am at Chapman Road, Ludlow Marker 32A. Cars should be spotted at Kyle Perry’s farm, Perry’s Road in Mt. Holly for your return transportation. This will be a day hike so good hiking boots, lunch, water and clothing appropriate for the weather will be needed. A visit to the grave of the unknown Revolutionary War Soldier on Salt Ash Mountain is planned. A few members of the Plymouth Historical Society will be participating in the hike of this section. For more information on this section or additional sections with overnight camping, contact Becky Tucker at rwtucker@aol.com or 802-885-4686. Local contact: Betsy Tonkin: 802-672-3179
