Queen City Contras invites you to a contra dance, Friday, Oct 20 at the Shelburne Town Hall. Doors open at 6:30, beginner lesson at 6:45, dancing from 7 to 10. Contra dancing is a lively dance with a long history, especially in New England, and is danced all over the world. It's been described as a cross between square dancing and swing dancing.

Local favorite Luke Donforth will call. Our band will be Cedar Stanistreet on Fiddle and Amy Englesberg on Piano.

All are welcome; all dances are taught; no partner or experience necessary. Beginner's session at 6:45pm, dancing from 7 to 10. $12 adults, $5 kids/low-income, donations welcome. Cash or check. Please bring a pair of clean soft-soled shoes to dance in. Masks welcome but optional. Please stay home if you have symptoms.
