Full Moon Mosaics is a monthly gathering where we will play with tile, be it glass or ceramic, and casually create a mosaic with some guidance. Full Moon or crescent moon patterns are provided to work with or you can work free form.

We will provide round substrates (bases) to work on with hanging hardware. This is a low pressure, fun night: no experience is needed.

Music, materials and instruction will be provided. To learn mosaics in more detail see our class schedule for more in-depth mosaic workshops.

This is a 2 part process. You can come in for a later scheduled grouting session, take a bag of grout home, or I will grout for you to pick up at a later date. We can arrange during class time.

Instructor Dayna Sabatino
Dayna is the Owner and Teaching Artist at Day Breaks Glass STudio in Bethel. Dayna has over 2 decades of professional experience in Stained Glass and Mosaic Art design, construction, and instruction. She has taught from coast to coast, across the United States, at several art centers around Vermont.

Dayna opened Day Breaks Glass Studio in Bethel, Vermont in 2022. The studio runs a large curriculum of courses in stained glass and mosaic art and hosts guest artists sharing their handcrafting skills. The studio sells a selection of stained glass and mosaic tools and supplies including colorful stained glass in small sizes and scrap glass by the pound.

Day Breaks Glass is a member of The Vermont Crafts Council and The Stained Glass Association of America and has worked with the Arts Bus. Dayna has also received grants from The Vermont Arts Council.
