Green Electricity?
Have you heard that our electricity is not green, and that Vermont's per capita climate pollution is the second highest in New England, (about 14 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, or CO2e) is more than twice as high as the global average, and significantly higher than from residents of many other countries? (According to the Energy Action Network 2023 Annual Progress Report.)
To find out more and learn what you can do about it, there is a meeting, Empower, Vrmont at the Champlain Valley UU Church in Middlebury on Tuesday, October 3, from 5:30 - 7:00 pm, with a light dinner and childcare provided.
