The Walden Community Library will be participating in Walden's Fall Foliage event this year on October 2nd by hosting an open house from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. Light appetizers and beverages will be served. Stop by the library, enjoy some small bites, and take in the foliage from a different vantage before the fall foliage supper. We will also host an old-fashioned apple cider pressing demonstration and tasting. All are welcome, locals and visitors alike. Bring your own apples to contribute if you'd like. The Walden Community Library is a combined public and school library and is completely run by volunteer efforts. The library is located behind the Walden School at 135 Cahoon Farm Rd. This year, the library has recruited new volunteers to staff the library, and has hosted several successful events and programs for youths and adults. It is open to the public weekly from Monday to Wednesday and on Saturday mornings. We look forward to seeing you at the library!
