Many hands make light work. The Calais Cemetery Commission has set this Saturday, September 6th, to finish painting the fence surrounding the Old West Church Cemetery. We need volunteers to help keep our cemeteries in good condition beyond the usual mowing and maintenance. Please, if you live on that road or in the neighborhood, join us at 9 AM or afterwards - whenever you can spare an hour or two. Just show up. We have the paint and brushes. It's fun!
